What is SnapChat Memory?

SnapChat memories are snapshots and stories that, unlike SnapChat's previous practice, you can save and share whenever you want. (Snaps and stories were automatically deleted in the previous version of SnapChat.) You can open memos, edit snaps and stories, send them to your friends, or re-share old content whenever you want.

What is Flashback?

Flashback Memory is something like the anniversary of Memory Snaps. For example, if you added a SNAP to Memory on the 10th of January 1397, then every year on the 10th of January, a new story will appear for you that you can share as a flashback.

Flashback Memory is created automatically. Just check your memory and see if a new flashback is stored in the memory. Flashback is a reminder of the content you posted years ago.

The SnapChat flashback feature will be available to you when you have a memory from today to last year; For example, suppose today is the 10th of January and you had a memory on the 10th of January last year.

If you do not see such a feature in your stories, it means that you have no memory to see its anniversary this year. But if you have flashback, you can edit, share or save it. You can add new stickers and filters to the memory by editing.

After editing is complete, you can share it by selecting the Send Story option. But if you do not want to post flashback, you can save it to the Stories tab by selecting save to Stories, and find and post it whenever you want.

You can disable flashback in the settings. But we advise you not to do this; With this feature, you can display creative ideas. Here are some of these ideas:

Practical ideas for using memory and flashback memory

Scrolling through a memory page can generate interesting ideas in your mind so you can share the same old snaps and stories in a new format. Take Flash Memories, for example, which is designed to commemorate an event from years past. If you work as a brand in SnapChat, you will remember with flashbacks what path you have taken and you may even see your first SnapChat post.

Sharing such memories with your audience reminds them of what path they have taken with you and how much you have grown together. Another positive feature of this type of content is that it also helps to attract a new audience. Brand stories and post-scene events are always appealing to followers.

Combine memories and create a new story

The 24-hour cycle of snaps meant that you could only tell a 24-hour story. So to share the details of a longer project or photos of a multi-day trip, separate stories had to be posted that made them difficult to follow.

But with Memory you can collect all those posts and create a whole new story.

For example, if you want to introduce a new product, you can share all the steps that led to the product in the form of a story. Or to celebrate a new success, you can collect photos and videos taken from teamwork and tell a new story of your achievement.

Memorize in SnapChat lets you also extract content from the camera gallery; So you can use different content that you have created on other platforms. Combining posts from different platforms allows you to create completely new content and define a deeper story of your brand.

Reminders of seasonal memories

Do you have an old holiday video from two years ago? You may have forgotten it; But flashback reminds you. Flashback Memory in SnapChat puts interesting memories in front of the eyes of its active user. You can repost the Yalda night video from a few years ago and you will never miss the opportunity to share its memories with your friends.

As you can see, SnapChat memory has many capabilities that are not limited to anything. Now that you are familiar with these features, share with us how to use Memory in SnapChat and your creative ideas.
